1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processing activities that occur when you use the CorpusSpark multimodal transcription and annotation platform and related websites, iOS apps, APIs, and administrative services.

If a specific feature includes a separate privacy notice, authorization dialog, or service rule, that specific notice takes priority for that feature.

2. Information We May Collect

Depending on the feature or scenario, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and identity information, such as email address, phone number if you provide one, username, user ID, login credentials, verification-code records, and related identity-verification information.
  • Business content information, such as audio, video, transcripts, tags, project settings, collaboration records, exported files, feedback submissions, and communication records that you upload, create, or edit.
  • Device and log information, such as device model, operating system, browser or app version, network status, IP address, access time, operation logs, error logs, and performance logs.
  • Contact and support information, such as organization name, contact details, request descriptions, and issue reports that you voluntarily submit through the website, email, official account, or support channels.

3. How We Use Personal Information

  • To complete registration, sign-in, identity verification, permissions control, account activation, and account security management.
  • To provide core functions including material management, automatic transcription, speaker separation, annotation collaboration, export, and notifications.
  • To diagnose issues, optimize performance, analyze usage, identify risks, and protect platform security.
  • To respond to inquiries, handle feedback, provide support, perform contractual obligations, and satisfy compliance requirements.
  • To fulfill legal, regulatory, and other statutory obligations.

4. Uploaded Content and Sensitive Information

Audio, video, text, and other materials you upload may contain personal information about you or others, including sensitive personal information such as face, voiceprint, or minors' information.

We process such information only within the scope necessary to provide the services. You are responsible for ensuring that the materials you submit have a lawful source and an appropriate legal basis for processing.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

On the web, we may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to maintain sign-in status, protect access security, analyze site usage, and improve user experience. You can manage or limit cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect some features.

6. Sharing, Entrusted Processing, and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Except in the following situations, we do not share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information:

  • With your authorization or consent, or in other situations permitted by law.
  • Where service providers need to assist with cloud hosting, storage, email delivery, or security operations within the minimum scope necessary to run the platform, and only under confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Where disclosure is required to fulfill legal duties, respond to lawful requests from competent authorities, or protect major lawful rights and interests relating to life or property where consent cannot realistically be obtained in time.

7. Storage and Retention

We retain personal information only for the shortest period necessary to achieve the processing purpose, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

After the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize personal information as required. If the service stops operating, we will notify users through announcement or other reasonable means and handle personal information in accordance with law.

8. Security Measures

  • We use access controls, encryption in transit, audit logging, permission isolation, and minimum-privilege controls to protect personal information.
  • We maintain internal management procedures and incident-response mechanisms to strengthen protection for personal information and business data.
  • If a security incident involving personal information occurs or may occur, we will take remedial measures promptly and provide notice when required by law.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may exercise the following rights:

You may submit requests through support@inevte.com or the in-product feedback channel, and we will verify and handle them within a reasonable period.

  • To access, copy, correct, or supplement your personal information.
  • To request deletion of personal information where legal conditions are met.
  • To withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing already carried out before withdrawal.
  • To cancel your account and request an explanation of this policy and related processing rules.

10. Permissions and Feature Impact

  • We request only the system permissions necessary for corresponding functions, such as microphone, file access, photo library access, and notifications.
  • You can disable those permissions in system settings. Doing so may prevent the related feature from working, but it will not necessarily affect other basic functions.

11. Minors' Information

If you are a minor, please use the services under the consent and guidance of your guardian.

If we discover that personal information of a minor has been processed without the required guardian consent, we will take deletion, correction, or other necessary measures as required by law.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time based on changes in laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, or business development. Updated versions will be published on this page with the relevant update date.

For material changes, we will provide prominent notice and seek renewed consent where required.
